Bethany Christian School provides modern, well-equipped spaces in which students can learn and practice their skills. Every secondary classroom has a video projector, allowing teachers to make use of PowerPoint and DVD presentations. We recently remodeled a large space to serve as our chapel. The room is more appropriate for our size than the church auditorium and provides a more comfortable environment for both students and speakers.
Our fully-developed science laboratory houses the equipment and the specimens necessary for six secondary science classes. Our computer lab utilizes Microsoft Office 07 products. Student work stations are equipped with flat-panel monitors. In addition to regular secondary use, our elementary students are in the lab weekly. We also have a dedicated language lab where students can access the Rosetta Stone curriculum to practice Spanish.
Our learning center, new in 2009, supports and supplements classroom instruction. Through reading services, tutoring, study skills programs, and more, the learning center enables every student to reach his or her full potential for God’s glory.
Music is a defining quality of both our school and church ministries. In light of that emphasis, much care has been devoted to creating well-appointed band and orchestra rooms, equipped with all the major instruments. We also have several studios that are used for private lessons and practice sessions.
Our gymnasium has a hardwood floor and six backboards. Our athletic teams and physical education classes also use our weight room, baseball field with fenced-in dugouts, and soccer field.
